scaling, flaking, redness and skin irritation associated
with psoriasis.

solution or the plaque, and avoids
stains, odor or messiness.
-
Cost
Effective Alternative to
prescription medications. One bottle
provides up to a 3-month supply.
Technology
What makes PSORENT™ different from any other coal tar
product on the market?
-
Fast
Absorbing: The LCD in PSORENT™ is a
solution, but NeoStrata has developed a
special vehicle, known as liquid wax,
that promotes fast LCD absorption.
-
Occlusive:
Liquid wax creates a light-occlusive
barrier on psoriatic plaques that
significantly reduces the odor and
staining associated with traditional
coal tar products.
-
"Dab-on"
Applicator: A "dab-on" applicator
built into the top of the PSORENT™
bottle allows patients to apply the
product without touching the product or
their plaques with their fingers. The
result is that patients get a highly
effective, safe topical treatment - without the mess.

Testimonials
"I started using PSORENT, within about three weeks I noticed a big difference in the amount of scaling skin that was apparent on my elbows and knees, it was much less" -Richard
"I think PSORENT is an excellent product. The applicator is very good, it's not messy and dries very quickly, and it doesn't stain your clothes" -Lourdes
"Let me preface this note by saying that I do not write to companies unless I am very impressed. I have had psoriasis since I was 12 years old. I have tried almost every product on the market (and some that are not). While visiting your website, my wife ordered a sample of Psorent. I used it and had to write and tell you how wonderful it is. The sample bottle is almost gone and so are the patches… " -Jeff
"I just wanted to say I got a free sample of Psorent and I love it. This is the first product I have found that actually works… it’s amazing how fast and good it works. " -Jennifer
"I wanted to give a testimonial about Psorent and my psoriasis. After trying everything available for a year I cannot believe how this product has cleared up my psoriasis. Where can I buy this without going to a doctor?" – Barbara K.
"I don't usually do this, because most products don't work. Psorent is great!!! I have thick psoriasis on my scalp. It's difficult to brush my hair, let alone go to a beauty salon. I sent away for your sample and have used it about a week or so. There are NO more patches, my scalp is smooth! Thank you so much for making a product that works, especially on psoriasis - a subject many people ignore. " – Lori R.

FAQs
Does PSORENT™ stain nails and discolor hair?
PSORENT™ may
stain skin, hair, nails, clothing, and other
household surfaces that come in contact with
the medication. However, used according to
label instructions, PSORENT™ is designed to
avoid stains, odor, or messiness. The dab-on
application directs medication just to where
it is applied, without using fingers, and
the fast-absorbing formula with “liquid wax”
for light occlusion minimizes potential for
stains and odor. Before using PSORENT™ for
scalp lesions, patients should be instructed
to test in a small, discrete spot. As with
all topical medications, patients should be
instructed to wash their hands thoroughly
after each application if they have come in
contact with the product.
Can coal tar increase cancer risk?
Studies of
patients treated extensively with topical
coal tar products have not found an
increased incidence of cancer compared with
the cancer rates predicted in the general
population. Moreover, the FDA maintains that
OTC products with coal tar concentrations
between 0.5% and 5% are safe and effective
for psoriasis and that no scientific
evidence suggests that the coal tar in OTC
products is carcinogenic. Some studies
however, show that some of the chemicals
in coal tar may cause cancer, but only in
very high concentrations - like those used
in industrial paving. Although medications
containing coal tar are safe, under
California's Proposition 65 (a state law
passed by voters in 1986 that requires
products that contain certain chemicals
to include the cancer warning, "This product
contains chemicals known to the state of
California to cause cancer"), products
such as shampoos, lotions, and creams that
contain more than 0.5% coal tar and are sold
over-the-counter in the state are required
to be labeled with the appropriate warning
statements.
What about coal tar and the sun?
Due to the
light-sensitizing properties of coal tar,
patients should be instructed to use
sunscreen and monitor sun exposure to avoid
burning. They should also be taught to
cleanse any treated areas before exposing
them to sunlight, as coal tar remains active
on the skin for at least 24 hours. A
heightened risk of burning continues
throughout this active period.
